1Wind-up wax chamber

The tub. Holds a standard 70 mm round block. Turn the base and the pusher plate raises the wax. No digging.

2Sealed lid

Ø91 mm with a ribbed grip. Screws on to keep sand out and any melt in.

3Wax scraper & bottle opener

The black plate on the lid. Cleans old wax off your deck, opens a frothy after.

4Fin key

Clipped into the lid, so it's there when a fin screw needs it.

5Base with zinc compartment

The base unscrews. Zinc lives in here, sealed off from the wax.

How do I stop surf wax melting in my car?

You can't beat the heat, but you can stop the mess. Keep wax out of direct sun (glovebox or under the seat beats the dash) and keep it sealed. That's what the Vault is for: it's rated to 85°C in a parked car and keeps any melted wax inside instead of all over your car.

What wax fits?

Any standard 70 mm round surf wax block. Finish one, load the next.

How does the dispenser work?

Turn the base and the pusher raises the wax. Keep winding as the block gets smaller.

What goes in the bottom compartment?

Zinc and small bits. It's sealed off from the wax.

What's in the box?

The Vault, with the wax scraper, bottle opener and fin key built into the lid. It ships empty: wax and zinc aren't included.
